How Astrobility Works
What happens between entering your birth details and reading your reading
Step 1: Birth Data Collection
You give your name, birth date, birth time and the place you were born. The place is turned into exact latitude and longitude. A professional astrologer would ask for the same details; Astrobility uses them for four charts instead of one.
Step 2: Swiss Ephemeris Calculation
The Swiss Ephemeris, the astronomical library professional astrologers rely on, works out where the planets were at your birth. The Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn and your Rising sign are each placed to the degree, along with their houses.
Step 3: Four-System Computation
From those positions come four charts. The Western chart uses the tropical zodiac. The Vedic chart applies the Lahiri ayanamsa to find your sidereal nakshatra and its pada. BaZi gives your year, month, day and hour pillars, with their stems, branches and balance of the five elements. Numerology works out your Life Path, Expression and Soul Urge numbers.
Step 4: Astrobility reads them as one
The four charts go to Google AI with Astrobility’s instructions. They ask it to start from what the pillars agree on and to write about you as one person. Your placements are named once, when they are introduced, and after that the reading talks about you.
Step 5: Structured Output
You get a reading in parts. It opens with a portrait of you, then says what all four pillars confirm, and in the full readings goes on to your gifts, your shadow work, your purpose, the year ahead and practical recommendations for your chart. Understanding Your Reading explains each part.
