” What is Swiss Ephemeris?
Swiss Ephemeris is the most accurate astronomical calculation library available. Developed by Astrodienst in Switzerland, it's used by NASA, professional observatories, and serious astrology software worldwide.
Unlike simplified lookup tables that approximate planetary positions, Swiss Ephemeris calculates exact positions using the same mathematical models used for spacecraft navigation.

Our calculation engine runs on Python with the pyswisseph library—the official Python wrapper for Swiss Ephemeris. Each system has dedicated calculation modules:
